 Bahraini French Business Club - CAFB was incepted with the idea of excelling the relationship between Bahrain and France in all spheres of life, apart from providing a common platform for Bahraini and French business houses to interact. With more than 120 members as of to-date, CAFB proved to be one of the best business clubs in the Kingdom since its registration in 2000 and a role model for many other business associations.
All of the ingredients necessary for an outstanding Club are in place at CAFB, be it the members who always attend the monthly functions as well as the very dedicated team of executive committee who guarantees the best out of the two countries – in both business and cultural areas.
Our focus in the pursuit of excellence in the ever changing corporate environment has given rise to wide and varied opportunities. There’s Only One word for it …FRANCETASTIC!
We are pleased to announce that the previously postponed CAFB French Week 2011 is just a short while away taking place from 16–22 November 2011, featuring a fantastic range of dynamic and exciting events
happening across the Kingdom of Bahrain. The French Week 2011 is being
held under the patronage of Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa,President of the Bahraini Royal Equestrian and Races Capacity Team
Leader and Royal Chairman of the Board of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and is being organised by the Bahraini-French Business Club(CAFB) and the French Embassy in conjunction with the Alliance Francaise de Bahrein.

We are also happy to announce that leading businesswoman and CAFB Director of Business Development, Miss Betsy B. Mathieson has kindly accepted the role of President of the French Week 2011 Committee.
The third edition of this spectacular event promises to be even bigger and better than ever before! Why not take in the delights of professionally prepared exquisite French cuisine or be entertained by fantastic performances taking place with famous international magicians, the Bel Canto Gourmet Opera, the French Folk dancers of La Bourree, fantastic Swing and Jazz bands and much, much more! Browse through the French Week art and photography exhibitions being held in art galleries throughout the island, or perhaps catch a popular French film. There is also a few fun sporting events to participate in or simply laze away an afternoon spectating at The Gourmet golf day and French classic petanque tournament.
Carrefour and some leading supermarkets will be providing plenty of offers, promotions and displays of typical French fare for you to enjoy as well as a raffle to win a French classic, a Peugeot car! Your favourite Mall will be participating with French products and special offers for shoppers as well as an exquisite fashion show of the latest trends from all your favourite French brands.
